This is a favorite of many of our guests. It is classic old Cape Cod; rustic yet comfortable and inviting. It has a beautiful tiled bathroom with a pedestal sink, a full tub and shower, and a quaint, well-equipped kitchen. The wainscoted living room walls lend warmth and charm. When you enter the airy sun-porch (10' x 20') with its' many hanging plants lining the windows, you'll definitely want to settle in and stay for a while.

It's a great place to just sit and relax, enjoy the warm summer breezes, watch a video, or share a meal. It is also well-suited as a play area for children, during those rare times when the weather is less than perfect.

There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed (beside which is a spacious alcove for a crib or playpen), and 2 twin beds, all with new, firm mattresses.

Cottage 1 was rebuilt in the spring of 2007, literally from the ground up. It now has a full basement, central heat and air-conditioning, new windows, a new roof and a new deck. An outside shower has also been added.
